One day, Ruby was playing with her favorite toy truck when her friend Benny Bunny came over. Benny had a shiny/colorful/pretty butterfly net he wanted to play with, but Ruby wouldn't let/allow/permit him to use it. Benny felt very sad/disappointed/lonely. He went away to play by himself.

Benny was so happy/surprised/excited! He and Ruby played together for a long time, sharing all their toys. From that day on, Ruby learned the importance of sharing/kindness/giving.

Penny Penguin waddled to the edge of the icy cliff. She looked down and gasped in alarm. Her best friend, Clyde, was trapped in a pile of snow! He'd tried to jump over the drift but had tripped. Now he couldn't move his flippers. Penny knew she had to help. She quickly gathered some rocks and pushed at the snow, trying to make a path for her friend. It was hard work, but Penny didn't give up. Finally, after much effort, she unstuck Wally from his snowy prison! Wally was so thankful that he gave Penny a big hug. They both waddled away, happy to be together again.
